Each Flaco's Taco begins at dawn.

That's when the cocineras arrive to prepare fresh tomatillos, jalapeños, and habaneros to make our famous fresh salsas. They prep the masa and smooth out the banana leaves and dried corn husks for our homemade tamales. They didn't go to a fancy culinary school. Their skills were learned at home, from their mothers, fathers, aunts, and uncles.

We may serve your Flaco's Tacos quickly, but we take no shortcuts in our preparations. What we don't prepare ourselves, we source from trusted partners, like El Milagro Tortillias. We take pride in our food, and we take pride in our efforts to recycle, reduce waste, and use biodegradable products.

Our famous Flaco's margaritas were voted one of the "10 Best in Chicago". One sip will tell you why. Online ordering is fast and easy for pick-up and delivery. If you would rather visit us in person, our three Chicago locations are conveniently located near the Red Line in the Printers' Row, Gold Coast, and Edgewater neighborhoods. Do you need to cater a group event? Give us advance notice, and Flaco's will have your guests raving about the food.
